Svilajnac, Serbia. After a one-year delay due to the difficulties of the Corona pandemic, the production team of HDT Serbia moved from Belgrade to the purpose-built HDT plant at the new location in July. There in Svilajnac, 10 employees are now mainly producing installation testers and EV testers for renowned brands, with the prospect of expanding the team to about 20 people already next year.
The plant processes are based on the proven ones of the HDT plant in China, which plant manager Dejan Milosavljevic got to know and appreciate during his 2 years of work there. "By implementing and using the proven manufacturing processes according to LEAN already before the move, when manufacturing was still in the premises in Belgrade, we can now hit the ground running at the new location," says Dejan, who is very proud to have finally put the new location into operation.
