What kind of RCD do I need for my EV Charger?

In the international standard IEC 61851-1 it is defined that it is necessary to have at least a RCD type A which rated residual operating current is not exceeding 30 mA and this RCD shall disconnect all live conductors.

Also, if the EV supply has a socket-outlet or vehicle connector for AC use (which is case for most chargers) protective measures against DC fault current is necessary too. In that case it is necessary to have RCD type B or RCD type A and appropriate equipment that ensures the disconnection of all live conductors if the DC fault current is above 6mA.
